Introducing Crystine Young

Crystine was born and raised in Northern Ireland. The daughter of an Anglican Vicar (Malcolm Young), Crystine moved over to the UK in May 2024. She was introduced to The Fownto Crew and as soon as we heard her sing, we knew we had to work with her.

Crystine's father came to the UK to be the minister at St Michael and all angels church in Haworth, the same church that Patrick Bronte, father of the famous Bronte sisters was a minister in 1819, Patrick was also originally from County Down Northern Ireland. It is interesting that Crystine finds inspiration for writing songs, whilst she sits by The Bronte Waterfalls. The synergy is almost magical!

After 5 months of writing and recording with the Fownto Crew, Crystine now has a 10 song album, which will be available to download in 2025.

The first single from this album, The 17th Time, will be released on 24th January 2025.

The Fownto Crew are excited for people to hear what has been created with Crystine, but it doesn't end there, because The Crew and Crystine continue to write new material, which shows no signs of slowing down, in fact, it seems to be gathering pace, with idea's flowing from everyone involved.

The album will be entitled "Needless Things" and will be available to download later in 2025, once the first few singles have been released. You can go to our Songs section on this web site to listen to the album, prior to it's release.
